The Perry Independence Day Celebration will have fireworks in Historic Downtown Perry on July 4th!
In celebration of the City of Perry's 200th birthday, the City of Perry will bring back the nostalgia of yesteryear, filled with charm, tradition, and wholesome fun at this FREE event!
Entertainment will include live music from The Georgia Beauty Shop quartet, a roaming Statue of Liberty, Scott's Shoe Shining, Captain America & Wonder Woman, face painting, and a balloon artist. Perry Fire & Emergency Services will provide photo opportunities with an antique fire truck. Food trucks & beverage vendors will also be present during the event.
The fireworks will begin at approximately 8:50 p.m. The launch site is a large grassy area near the railroad tracks between Carroll Street and Main Street. Barricades will be clearly marked for the fallout zone. Do not cross the barriers at any time during the event.
Bring your own chairs and blankets to view the fireworks.
Outside coolers, amplified sound, and fireworks of any type are not allowed.
