The Perry Presents lawn concert series is coming back and will be the perfect way to spend your gorgeous spring evenings. Imagine you, your favorite people, some great music, and the sun setting at Heritage Oaks Park. Sounds pretty good!
The City of Perry has three amazing concerts lined up, one for each month of spring. Consider it your monthly dose of chill vibes and good times with family or friends. First, on March 28, things kick off with The Bearded Brothers, a country rock band from Tampa that plays many genres and is known for its Southern Rock roots. They know how to get a crowd going, and they'll be a blast.
Then, sing along to all your favorite hits with The Georgia Chryslers in April. They cover everything from the '60s to the 2000s, so there's something for everyone. And in May, they're throwing it back to the '90s with Rock The 90s USA. This will be the time to dig out your flannel and Doc Martens because everyone will be going nostalgic!
Here's the best part: it's not just about the music. It's about hanging out, relaxing, and enjoying the simple things. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket, spread out on the grass, and make yourself at home. And yes, you can bring your furry friends as long as they're on a leash and well-behaved.
You're always welcome to pack your own picnic, but they've got four food trucks coming, so you won't go hungry. Plus, there'll be beer for sale if you're thirsty. This year, they're adding a few retail vendors, so you can pick up some local goodies similar to what you will find at the farmers market, such as fruits, vegetables, arts, and crafts.
These concerts are the perfect way to unwind after a long week. The sun's going down, the music's playing, and you're surrounded by good company. It's what spring evenings are made for.
"Music has a way of bringing people together, and that's exactly what Perry Presents is all about," says Autumn Cameron, Special Events Administrator for the City of Perry. "This event is an opportunity to get outside, enjoy free live music, and spend time together as a community. We invite everyone to come out, relax, and experience the joy that live music brings to Perry."
Here's an important tip: Get there early. You can arrive as early as 6:00 pm. Once the parking areas are full, no one else will be allowed to enter.
So, mark your calendars! Heritage Oaks Park, Friday, March 28. Get ready for fun. The music starts at 7:00 pm.
We want to see you there!
